So after all these kilometers our road trip ends with a stop in Most in the Czech Republic for our third round of the World Championship!! 🇨🇿🌍
Arriving early Thursday morning, we settled in quickly so that we could take part in the afternoon private tests. The summer heat is here!! ☀️☀️☀️
A brand new track for Todd, so we are using this test session to learn the circuit and make our first adjustments.⚙️
Everything is going very well and the times are already good.
Friday morning, we take advantage of free practice to clarify our modifications and we prepare for the first qualifying session of the afternoon.✊🏻 We manage to rank first with a time of 1’40”9.
Very happy with this performance, we spend the rest of the day preparing our car.😍
On Saturday morning, the goal is to run the tires in the second qualifying and see if someone manages to dethrone our place. The Birchall brothers achieve a better time so we decide to fight back and regain our pole position with a time of 1’40”4… the sprint race looks hot 😁
3 p.m., the start is launched for 10 laps.
We are in the lead and it takes few laps before the battle with number 16 begins. Unfortunately we are a little late on braking and we find ourselves 4th. There are not many more laps to go up, so we pass the checkerboard at the foot of the podium… disappointed but it’s the race, we can only improve the next day!!!😉💪🏻
Saturday night, we are changing some settings so that we can be more comfortable in certain turns.🤔🔧 We take advantage of the warm up on Sunday morning to test our work and it is proving effective.
2:10 p.m., the 17-lap gold race sets off under a tropical sky. We made a very good start and immediately took the lead. We chained laps in this same position and our rivals, the Birchall brothers, came to titillate us.
The overtaking is intense, the race is very exciting and until the last corner you don’t know who will win.
On the last lap we are second, we fight to the end, we try the inside in the last corner, we are side by side and we finally pass victorious by two tenths!!!🥇🥇
But what a crazy race!!! So happy to experience moments like this!!😃🙃
